The movies Paul Blart: Mall Cop and Observe and Report are the same movies. Both comedies revolve around over weight security guards who want to be cops. Sure the films are slightly different in plot and story direction, but the clay used to sculpt them is the same.
They were made only months apart in 2009. Paul Blart: Mall Cop was first shown in theaters in January and Observe and Report hit the big screen in April. I wonder if it was by accident... Observe and Report was done by De Line Pictures and Paul Blart: Mall Cop by Columbia Pictures.
